Property Rental Fees for 2007

Monday through Thursday - $150.00 (1-4 p.m.) - $375.00 (5-9 p.m.)
Friday - $225.00 (1-4 p.m.) - $400.00 (5-9 p.m.)

Saturday - $400.00 (1-4 p.m.)  -  $500.00 - $700.00 (5-9 p.m.)
Sunday  -  $300.00 (1-4 p.m.)  -  $400.00 - $600.00 (5-9 p.m.)

Saturday and Sunday evening rates vary by the number of guests and the month.

If you would like time in addition to the above property fees the charge is $100.00 per hour.

All contracted times must be no later than 11:00 p.m.

Guest House property fees include exclusive use of the public areas of the house and outside deck and garden area.  We include our "House Decorations" as well as indoor seating with tables, chairs and 
linens for up to 45 guests.  Small vases of fresh flowers and votive candles are included for guest tables.  Additional seating is available for rental.

A canopy is required in the case of inclement weather for receptions over 75 guests.

Our Guest Rooms are available for Bridal Party preparation for an additional fee.


Floral and Decorations
Nacoochee Valley Guest House, is pleased to provide beautiful fresh flowers to enhance your reception.
One of our associates will meet with you to compliment your style.  Prices vary according to season and availability of floral selections.

Bouquets: Bridal & Bridesmaids
Boutonnieres: Groom & Groomsmen (Fathers & Grandfathers)
Corsages: Mothers & Grandmothers

Guest Table Centerpieces: $10.00 - $30-00 each
Buffet Centerpieces: $75.00 - $125.00 each


Wedding Ceremonies
$250.00 - $500-00 In addition to the Guest House property fee.

The Wedding Ceremony fee includes:
1 1/2 hours rental time limited seating for indoor and outdoor ceremonies.

An ordained minister or justice of the peace can be arranged for additional fee.

Wedding Ceremony Decorations

In the Main Dining Room: White tulle for the mantle, candies, floral centerpiece for the mantle and bows to mark family seating.

On the Outside Deck: Two pedestals with ferns, tulle for the arbor and bows to mark family seating.

You are welcome to have your florist supply any additional decorations.

Nacoochee Valley Guest House does allow the Wedding Party to decorate the facility themselves
- however there are a few things we would like our renters to know.*

Please make advance arrangements to decorate the facility.

The property renters are responsible to clean up when they decorate the facility.

Clean-up of the facility must be finished the day after the event by 1:00 pm, Or there will be a $100 fee for clean up.

NO Staples  -  NO Rice  -  NO Confetti - NO "Silly String"


Management, Service and Beverage Personnel
Nacoochee Valley Guest House provides professional service personnel for every event. The number of staff required is based on the type of service required.

1 (one) Event Manager is required for every event $250.00
Service and Beverage Personnel : $75.00 each

1. For Heavy Hors d'oeuvre's Buffet: I server per every 30 guests
2. For Breakfast, Luncheon, or Dinner Buffet: 1 server per every 20 guests
3. For Seated Service: I Server per every 15 guests
4. For Bar Service: I Bartender per every 50 guests

A minimum of 2 servers is required for any event.  A minimum of 3 servers is required for events over 75 guests.


Beverage Services
Clients must provide all beer, wine, and champagne, for bar service. Nacoochee Valley Guest House provides the following options:

(1) Beer, Wine, and Champagne Bar Set-Up, $3.00 glass - $1.50 disposable per Guest
Includes Glassware, Ice and Beverage Napkins.
We will handle the chilling of all beer, wine, and champagne.

(2) Non-Alcoholic Bar Set-Up: $3.95 glass - $2.95 disposable per guest
Includes a combination of Wedding Punch, Soft drinks, Iced Tea, Coffee, Glassware, Ice and Beverage Napkins.

A champagne Toast may be added to option 2 for an additional $1.00 per guest.

Additional Non-Alcoholic Beverage Options

(A) Assorted soft Drinks & Iced Tea: $2.50 glass - $1.50 disposable per guest
(B) Gourmet Coffee Service: $2.50 glass - $1.50 disposable per guest
(C) Wedding Punch: $2.50 glass - $1.5o disposable per guest

Alcoholic beverages may be served for a maximum of 3 1/2 hours during an event.

No "Hard" liquor is allowed on premises.


Menu Selection Guidelines
Nacoochee Valley Guest House has a different approach to menu selection that allows our clients to personalize their event in a wonderfully effortless way.  We have broken down items into groups 
with a price structure - so you may pick and choose foods that will fit your own taste and style. 
One of our associates will meet with you and help create the menu of your dreams.

Salad Selections: $1.25 - $2.50 per person

Assorted Hot & Cold Hors d'oeuvre's: $.50 - $1.25 each per person

Party Trays: $2.50 - $2.95 per person

Meat Selections: $2.95 per person

Roasted Items: $3.00 - $4.50 per person

Seafood Selections: $2.50 - $4.95 per person

Carved Items: $5.00 per person

Fresh Vegetables & Starch: $2.50 per person,
(Additional selection add $1.00 per person)

Specialty Items & Requests: Market Price

Minimum menu selection:
Day event is $10.00 per person
Evening Event is $15.00 per person
19% Service Charge & Current Sales Taxes Are Not Included In Above Prices
 

Wedding Cake
It is our belief that the Wedding Cake should provide a delicious and incredibly beautiful finale for you and your guests on this very special occasion.  Each of our cakes are handcrafted from the finest ingredients and decorated to suit each Bride's individual sense of style.  The choice of flavors is virtually endless. 
Brides may select from a variety of custom designs or may present us with her own ideas. 
We will provide a keepsake topper on your cake or if you wish you may purchase your own.

Prices for Nacoochee Valley Guest House cakes begin at $2.50 per Guest.
There is a minimum order of $75.00 for our Wedding Cakes.
Nacoochee Valley Guest House can also custom design Groom's Cakes for your event.

If you would like for us to provide your cake, a $75.00 non-refundable deposit will be due at the time you place your order and all orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance prior to your wedding date.

Nacoochee Valley Guest House does not charge a plating fee, with the purchase of our cakes. 
We include plates, forks, paper napkins, and personnel to cut the cake and package the remaining 
cake for you to take home. We will put the top layer of your cake in a separate box so that it will be wrapped and preserved for your first anniversary.

You may provide your own wedding cake, and the plating fee of $.75 per guest for disposable 
plates or china plates for $1.50 per guest will apply.
 

Guest House Policies - Deposits, Fees, and Payments
Deposits

A deposit in the amount of $250.00 is required to reserve the date of your function.
This deposit will be applied to the balance of the wedding and event. 
(In case of cancellation of your event or wedding, No refund will be issued.)

A 2nd payment of 50% of your estimated total due is to be paid two months prior to your event date. 
The final guest count and final payment are due one week prior to your event. We accept cash, 
personal checks, and travelers checks.

Clean Up Fee - There will be a minimum of $100 fee for clean up of the facilities.

Minimum Guest Guarantee

A minimum guest count Guarantee is required no later than seven (7) days prior to your party. 
You will be charged for this minimum or your actual guest count, whichever is larger.

Nacoochee Valley Guest House is Not Responsible for items left overnight.
 

Outside Services

Flowers, cakes, photographers, chair set-up, etc. may arrive and/or set-up no more than 2 hours prior to the start of your event.  In the event there is a function scheduled immediately preceding yours, 
set-up may be limited to 30 minutes prior.  The facility will be available but will NOT be completely 
set-up by our staff until 30 minutes Prior to the begin time for your event.

The use of confetti, potpourri, rice, popcorn, toilet paper or silly string is not allowed. Birdseed, 
wildflower seeds, rose petals and bubbles are acceptable ONLY outside of the facility.

Parking

A Parking Coordinator may be arranged for your event at a low rate.  The price depends on the 
size of your group and the length of your function.  If you choose NOT to hire a coordinator, the 
facility renter is responsible for placing someone of their choice to direct the parking overflow to the appropriate reserved area.

Changing Areas

Our Guest Rooms are available to the Bridal Parties for an additional fee.

Rental Time

The contracted rental times for The Guest House are: 3 hours for daytime functions - 4 hours 
for evening events.  If the function runs over the allotted event time, you will be charged accordingly.
